Clarinetist and multi-instrumentalist Adam Price is a versatile freelance musician. His debut album, “House Ghosts,” was released on October 26th, 2018 to critical acclaim.
Adam was born in Reading, PA and raised in rural south-east Pennsylvania. He began playing music at a young age, and quickly developed a love of jazz, with the help and inspiration of Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw. After graduating from Boyertown Area Senior High School, Adam went on to spend two years at Penn State University before transferring and receiving his Bachelor's degree in Classical Clarinet Performance from New York University. Since then he has performed and toured with many bands, songwriters, and musicians, from NYC to LA, including The Landing, Circus Mutt, and Town Hall, to name a few.
Although he considers the clarinet his main instrument, he is equally proficient on saxophone and flute. He has also found a love for ethnic woodwinds and has been deeply exploring the Native American flute, fujara, and didgeridoo.
He currently tours with his own group, freelances, and is on staff at Ferrwood Music Camp.
